Networking Days
Held at member schools around the UK, offering further opportunities for schools and agents to meet face-to-face
What are Networking Days?
Our in-person Networking Days are exclusively for BBSN member schools and agents. They provide an opportunity to meet new and existing partners, chat to colleagues in other schools/companies, learn about the latest market intelligence and developments in our sector, and have a tour of the host school.
Hannah Helliar, St Mary’s School, Cambridge
Acting Head
"I always think that you feel part of a family when attending BBSN events - which is an extraordinary achievement when that family consists of colleagues from such a diverse range of schools and agents from all over the world!"

Benefits of attending a Networking Day
CONTACTS
Schools can meet agents:
A valuable opportunity to meet face-to-face with quality, experienced agents recruiting from a range of international recruitment markets. All participating agents will be BBSN Approved Agents, having been carefully selected, reference-checked and interviewed before they are able to join our Network. There are unscheduled networking opportunities over refreshments on arrival, during lunch and in the afternoon. You can put faces to names, catch up with existing partners and expand your agent network. Agents and school staff have different coloured lanyards to help identify them and we provide a delegate list with photos in advance.
Meet colleagues:
The chance to chat with staff from other schools or agencies who have similar roles and who are all facing similar challenges.
KNOWLEDGE
Learn:
The BBSN team and partner companies will provide updates on the very latest market intelligence to feed into your international recruitment plans.
Understand:
Find out what’s happening on the ground from experienced agent members in a Panel Discussion and take the opportunity to ask questions in an open Q&A session.
View:
Enjoy a tour of the host school and, in particular, it's boarding provision. Agents have a full school tour in the morning; guest schools are offered a short tour at the end of the day.
SUPPORT
Talk:
Meet and catch up with the BBSN team, ask questions, pick up tips, and set up support meetings/training to get the most from your membership.
Encourage:
Chat and learn from staff in other schools or agencies. This is especially valuable for those who are new in post or for those who have not been to in-person events for a long time and have missed the support of colleagues.
Alexandra Gómez, English Education
Director
"In terms of networking, I think the schedule was well organised, giving us time to speak with schools and other agents. I really enjoyed the tour of the host school, it was a proper tour, with plenty of time to explore the campus and get to know the boarding staff. "
