AQF Training Programme for UK Boarding School Agents: Terms & Conditions

1. Training Programme fees and invoicing

The training programme fee is £125 + VAT per delegate. This covers all modules of the training, plus resource packs and workbooks. The fee applies separately to every registered delegate. There are no discounts for additional delegates from the same company, as we have kept the fees as low as possible to make the training accessible. BBSN will invoice the company upon receipt of the booking form. Payment is required in advance via bank transfer or via Flywire for international payments. Where payment is not received in advance, delegates will not be provided with access. The same person must complete the course and it can not be shared between staff.

2. Capacity and confirmation of place

Each training course involves 2 x 2-hour live training sessions via Zoom, which each have a maximum capacity of 100 delegates. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. Submission of a booking form does not confirm a place; a place is confirmed only when BBSN issues an email confirmation.

3. Training Programme cycle and attendance

Delegates must select one published training programme cycle of dates. Delegate materials will be released by the published release date for that cycle. Delegates must complete all three Foundation Learning modules by the stated deadline and before they attend both the live training sessions (on Zoom) in the same selected cycle. All published session times are UK time.

4. Cancellation

Cancellation requests must be sent to BBSN via email at least 30 calendar days before the first live session in the booked cycle to qualify for a refund. Cancellation requests received after that point are non-refundable.

5. Transfers

BBSN may, at its discretion, allow a delegate to transfer once to another published programme cycle, subject to availability and appropriate cohort numbers. A transfer cannot be guaranteed, and BBSN is not obliged to provide an additional cycle where no later dates have been published.

6. Delegate substitution

Where a company needs to substitute a named delegate before the programme begins, BBSN may permit this subject to reasonable notice, availability and completion of the required registration information by the replacement delegate. A delegate who has already started the learning journey may not transfer their completion record or assessment result to another person.

BBSN & Fragomen offer post-training focus groups, and dates are shared with participants. These sessions are intended for additional discussion, questions and practical exploration following the live training. Attendance is strongly recommended but is not required for successful completion of the programme.

7. Programme changes

BBSN and Fragomen may make reasonable changes to programme content, presenters, delivery arrangements or published dates where necessary. Where a material change affects a confirmed booking, BBSN will communicate this to affected delegates as soon as reasonably practicable.

8. Programme resources

Designated programme resources may also be used by delegates who successfully complete the programme to support the internal training, induction and professional development of colleagues within their own organisation, subject to any usage conditions specified by BBSN and Fragomen LLP. Programme access, login credentials and assessment access must not be shared with other members of staff.

9. Assessment and certificate

At the end of the training programme delegates will receive an assessment which covers the whole course. If the required pass mark is not achieved, the delegate may review the relevant learning materials and retake the assessment in accordance with the programme requirements. A Certificate of Completion is issued only when the delegate has completed the required Foundation Learning, attended the required live sessions on Zoom and successfully completed the end-of-course assessment.

10. Accessibility and support

Delegates are encouraged to tell BBSN about any accessibility, learning or participation requirement at the point of booking or as early as possible so that available support can be discussed.

11. Data and privacy

BBSN and Fragomen will use delegate information as necessary to administer bookings and participation in the programme in accordance with the applicable privacy notice. Any optional marketing consent will be requested separately.
