You will have the opportunity to meet senior representatives from top quality independent British boarding schools, international study centres and sixth-form colleges. There are usually 80 schools from all over the UK with a range of types of schools including co-educational, single-sex, preparatory (junior) and senior. We normally have at least 2 guardianship companies at each event.
Schools/exhibitors and agents are required to pre-book appointments via our Electronic Appointment System (EASy). Profiles of the participating schools and exhibitors are made available on Connected, our online portal. 20 minute meetings allow agents to find out more about each school/company and meet new and existing partners face-to-face. Being able to meet in person provides the opportunity to develop long-term partnerships based on mutual trust and understanding, which is critical given the differences in nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
Each agent has a profile with a photograph of their representative(s) in the Workshop Handbook, which is distributed to all attendees, and on Connected, our online portal. The Handbook provides full contact details and photographs of agents, schools and exhibitors, which is a useful reference both during and after the event.
This event enables you to target independent British boarding schools, international study centres, sixth-form colleges, guardianship companies and and a small number of companies offering services which are relevant to our sector. They are all seeking to meet with top quality educational consultants.
Agents are encouraged to visit the schools after the Workshop in order to maximise their visit to the UK. Post-Workshop fam trips (familiarisation visits) are organised and sponsored by groups of host schools. There are usually three fam trips in different location of the UK, each visiting 5-6 schools over 3 days with places for around 15 agents. Details of the trips are sent to all the agents who are offered places at the Workshop.
