We are delighted to confirm details of our next in-person Networking Day on Thursday, 25th May 2023, exclusively for BBSN approved agents and school members. Come along, free of charge, and meet admissions and marketing staff in new and existing partner schools, chat to colleagues in other companies, enjoy lunch and refreshments, have a tour of the host school, RMS for Girls, and learn about the latest market intelligence and developments in our sector. We will also provide a demonstration of our new mobile-friendly members' portal which is being launched later this term. A representative from Fragomen will attend to present an update on student visas and immigration.
If you are based in the UK, or will be in the UK in May, this is an ideal opportunity to connect with other members for a valuable, enjoyable day!

About the Host School
The event will be hosted by one of our member schools, RMS for Girls, which is in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. The school has excellent transport links with a train and tube station within a 10-minute walk from the school, providing regular tubes and trains into London. Rickmansworth station is on the Metropolitan tube line.
For details of trains go to: www.thetrainline.com
For tube information go to: https://tfl.gov.uk/tube/route/metropolitan

RMS for Girls is a vibrant day and boarding school for girls age 2-18 with boarders from age 8. It is one of the oldest girls' schools in the UK - 235 years old - founded in 1788. Boarders come from over 20 different countries and benefit from access to central London (35 mins by train) and London international airports - Heathrow (25 mins), Luton (30 mins) and Stansted (55 mins). The school is ideally located in the south-east of England with easy access to London, Oxford (60 mins) and Cambridge (90 mins).
RMS for Girls is situated on 315 acres of beautiful green parkland and has a range of excellent sports facilities including its own golf course. The school prides itself on offering more than 50 different clubs and activities each week. Headteacher, Kevin Carson, has been in post since 2017. Read the Good Schools' Guide review here and remember to view their BBSN profile on the members' portal (login and find the school via the School Search facility on the left-hand menu).
Many valuable connections have been fostered at our previous Networking Days and many agent visits to schools are generated as a result of the events.
The Networking Day is free of charge to our member agents and will include lunch and refreshments. This provides a very cost-effective and time-efficient way to catch up with many school staff in one day, in one location! There are lots of new staff in our member schools and these events provide a unique opportunity to meet many of them this term, strengthening partnerships before the new recruitment year ahead.
There are approximately 80 places and we aim to have a good balance of school staff and agents at each event.
The Networking Day is an opportunity not to be missed! We recommend early booking to avoid disappointment.

How will the Networking Work?
Unlike the British Boarding School Workshops we run, there will not be scheduled meetings with schools. The purpose of the Networking days is to provide a chance to chat to staff from the schools, meet other agents and network in a less structured way. However, you can maximise the opportunity by using the delegate list we will provide prior to the event to message schools you wish to meet. You can also read their school profiles on the portal to ensure you are targeting the right schools for your clients.
Nearer to the event, we will provide you with some tips on how to make the most of these networking opportunities and, on the day, BBSN staff will be on hand to assist by introducing and connecting the attendees. Agents and school staff have will different coloured lanyards at the event, which also helps to identify those you wish to meet.
Many valuable connections have been fostered at our previous Networking Days and many agent visits to schools are generated as a result of the events.
